Education

  • Minneapolis, MN

Studied closely themes of community engagement for client success in the context of education + human development. Discussed and researched nuanced applications for digital engagement strategies — considering new technical and social media development — all with the intention to support client retention. My research was orchestrated through the lens of wanting to understand organizational leadership theory, social justice in praxis, advising/coaching models, and effective client engagement methods.

  • Minneapolis, MN

Researched gender, race & politics from a global and intersectional feminist perspective. Re-imagined digital influences supporting organic social movement. Studied creative literature, music and art forms that created educational / systems-level change, with a particular focus on the post-2000s social media and digital communications boom. Learning that social movements had self-publishing power through nuanced digital technology (i.,e., social media), set the tone for my career to follow.

During the last half of my undergraduate studies, I worked as a Peer Mentor & Digital Storytelling Lead for the President’s Emerging Scholar’s Program to re-recentralize underrepresented experiences and identities present in this learning community.
